Side) For Intervener : Mr.D.SENTHIL Advocate PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent for the alleged offence punishable under Section 498(A) of IPC in Crime No.21 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the first accused and the defacto complainant was solemnized on 07.06.2015. Thereafter the first accused along with the petitioners herein compelled the defacto complainant to live with the mother-inlaw at Madurai and left abroad for his job. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and prayed for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that investigation is pending. He would also submit that the petitioners harassed the defacto complainant and demanded more dowry.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact there are serious allegations against the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
