ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused Nos.1 and 2, in Crime No.499 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, was arrested on 02.08.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b) and 307 of I.P.C., and hence, seek bail.
2. According to the de-facto complainant that on 01.08.2015, the accused, at knife point demanded Rs.500/- from the de-facto complainant for taking liquor and also assaulted the brother of the de-facto complainant.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent and they have been falsely implicated in this case and it is further submitted that they have been incarceration for more than 60 days and the major part of the investigation is over.
4. The respondent filed a counter stating that the first petitioner is having 8 previous cases and the second petitioner is having two previous cases of similar nature and it is further submitted that the investigation is not yet completed.
5. However, considering the fact that the petitioners are in judicial custody from 02.08.2015, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kuzhithurai and on further condition that the petitioners shall reside at Vilupuram and report before the Vilupuram Taluk Police Station daily twice at 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. for a period of 30 days. sd/- 06/10/2015 / TRUE COPY / https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
