ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents take appropriate action, based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.01.2026 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Supreme Court of India in Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & others reported in 2014 2 SCC 1.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner's representation is pending before the respondent for consideration.

3. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits of the claim made by the petitioner direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 14.01.2026 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four 2/4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the petitioner is also directed to co-operate with the enquiry.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
