ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give police protection to the petitioner's life and liberty from the respondents 3 to 6 by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 17.03.2019.

2.The case of the prosecution is that there was a family dispute in between the petitioner and the third respondent. The petitioner is the father-in-law and third respondent is the daughter-in-law, there was a family dispute in between them, for which, the third respondent, came to native village and entered into quarrel with the petitioner, for which, the petitioner filed a complaint before the second respondent police and the second respondent police also assigned C.S.R. number. Since the second respondent not taken any action, the petitioner filed a petition seeking for police protection against her daughter-in-law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there was a family dispute in between the petitioner and the de-facto complainant/daughter-in-law for not furnishing the decree certificates.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the family dispute will be sought out, among themselves and there is no need for giving police protection to the petitioner.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, that the dispute is only between the petitioner and the third respondent/daughter-in-law, there is no need for giving police protection to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
