Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to transfer the investigation in Crime No.306 of 2010, from the second respondent to third respondent for investigation and filing final report before the competent criminal court within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.306 of 2010, from the second respondent to third respondent for investigation and file a final report before the competent criminal Court.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State would submit that the investigation is completed and the final report has already been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, assigned in C.C.No.34 of 2018. Hence, the prayer has become infructuous.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent police filed a charge sheet before the concerned Court and C.C. number also assigned, it would suffice to issue a direction to the trial Court to complete the investigation within a stipulated time.

4.In view of the above, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the trial Court to complete the proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
