O R D E R

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner had filed this Criminal Original Petition seeking direction against the first Respondent to file final report in Crime No.34 of 2023 dated 05.06.2023 on the file of the first respondent. It is his further submission that the Petitioner is the defacto complainant. The first accused, who is the husband of the defacto complainant, had filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No.12989 of 2023 before this Court seeking quashment of the FIR, which was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 19.07.2023 with a specific direction to the Respondent Police to file final report. It is his further submission that even after such directions were issued on 19.07.2023, till date the Respondent Police had not completed the investigation.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that the investigation had already been completed and the final report will be laid within a week.

3.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed directing the first Respondent to file the final report in Crime No.34 of 2023 within the time mentioned by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
