ORDER: The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.12.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 355, 323, 307, 376 and 506(2) IPC, in Crime No.121 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/accused had developed illegal intimacy with the defacto complainant. On knowing the same, the husband of the defacto complainant warned him. Due to that, on 16.12.2021, the petitioner kidnapped the defacto complainant and attempted to rape her and attacked her with knife and caused grievous injuries. Hence, the complaint. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the investigation is not yet completed.

CRL OP(MD). No.2184 of 2022 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also the fact that the investigation is not yet completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this point of time. 6.In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. sd/- 10/02/2022 / TRUE COPY / / /2022 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
