Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records in relating to the impugned order of the first respondent in Na.Ka.No.35/Ka.Thu.KaParama/Ni.Ni/2022, dated 23.01.2022 and to quash the same and consequently, to direct the first respondent to grant appropriate permission and police protection to conduct the Valli Thirumana Nadagam on 03.02.2022 from 10 p.m to next day 06.00 a.m as well as to conduct Maha Kumbabisegam Festival on 04.02.2022 in the petitioner's temple, situating in Keela Perunkarai Village, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering the petitioner's representations, dated 23.01.2022 and 30.01.2022 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. Mr.M.Veeranthiran Government Advocate (Crl. side) COMMON ORDER These petitions have been filed regarding performance of Kumbabisegam for the above mentioned temple. There was a difference of opinion between the two. However, it has been resolved in the peace committee meeting convened by the Tahsildar, Paramakudi. Both the parties have signed the minutes and it is directed that the same will be adhered to. The organizers of the Kumbabisegam want to hold Valli Thirumana Drama on tonight, the said drama will be allowed to be conducted. It should be concluded by 09.45 p.m. itself. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) is directed to communicate 2/3

the order of the Court to the Jurisdictional Police. Thiru.Boominathan, is at liberty to offer his worship and he will not be prevented by the rival parties.

2.Both the Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
