ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners,the learned counsel appearing for the intervenor and also the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2.The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 294(b) IPC, in Crime No.22 of 2019,seek anticipatory bail.

3.Today(21.02.2022),when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for defacto complainant has filed a memo stating that the amount due and payable to him have been settled in full. He has no objection to withdraw the criminal case pending against the petitioners.

4.In view of the same, the First Information Report in Crime No.22 of 2019, on the file of the City Crime Branch, Tirunelveli District is quashed. If any final report has been filed, the same would also stand quashed. In other words, the prosecution initiated against the petitioner at the instance of the defacto complainant stand quashed.

5.These Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of on these terms.
