ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 406, 294(b), 506(i) of I.P.C & Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, the petitioners are now before this Court seeking Anticipatory Bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) for the State.

3. Earlier the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, attached to this Bench and failure report, dated 29.01.2015 has been received.

4. On 02.02.2015, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioners. On that day, this Court granted interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners on condition that they should return 23 sovereigns of gold jewels of the defacto complainant and household articles and also cash of Rs.1 lakh, which was paid as dowry to the petitioners. Interim anticipatory bail was granted up to 11.02.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. When the matter was taken up on 16.02.2015, interim anticipatory bail granted was extended up to 23.02.2015, for the petitioners to comply with the earlier order.

6. On 23.02.2015 when the matter was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioners and hence, it is posted today.

7. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioners. The police have filed status report. In which, it is stated in paragraph No.2, that the petitioners have not complied with the orders of this Court and neither they appeared before the respondent police nor returned the gold jewelry of the defacto complainant.

8. Taking into consideration these facts, this Criminal Original Petition shall stand dismissed.
