ORDER

The present Review Application is filed to review the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.19085 of 2022 dated 23.08.2022.

2. The only ground on which review is sought for is for inclusion of interest on the belated payment of the terminal benefits. However, on perusal of the order passed in the Writ Petition dated 23.08.2022, it is seen that there was no positive direction for consideration of the claim, but rather, the respondents were directed to consider the petitioner's representation on its own merits and pass appropriate orders. While that being so, no positive orders for payment of interest can be granted to such a direction.

3. Accordingly, the Review Application stands dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh Writ Petition seeking for payment of interest, if he is otherwise legally eligible. There shall be no order as to costs. 29.11.2024 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No 2/4
