ORDER

The revision petitioner got married to the respondent on 27.08.2012. The marital relationship between the parties had come under strain. The respondent filed HMOP No.233 of 2016 before the Principal Sub Court, Tiruchirappalli. The revision petitioner is facing difficulties in contesting the proceedings at Tiruchirappalli. The marriage between the parties took place at Kandadevi in Devakottai Taluk.

2.Therefore, the Sub Court, Devakottai would also have the jurisdiction to hear the matter. Since the revision petitioner is a woman, this Court is of the view that in the interest of justice HMOP No.233 of 2016 shall stand withdrawn from the Sub Court, Thiruchirappalli and transferred to the Sub Court, Devakottai. This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
