Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, by directing the respondent herein to survey, measure and sub-divide the petitioner's land in Survey No.163-69 which was acquired by the petitioner vide Sale Deed No.521/11 dated 10.06.2011 register before the Sub-Registrar, Thirupananthal, based on his representation dated 24.12.2020, within a time frame as deem fit and proper by this Court.

ORDER
Heard Ms.S.Nirmala Daisy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent.

This Writ Petition has been in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent/the Tahsilsar, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District to survey, measure and sub-divide the lands of the petitioner in Survey No.163/69 bearing Door No.1/26, at Vilanthakandam Village, Rahmania Street, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur Disrict. The petitioner claims that he purchased the same by a registered sale deed on 10.06.2011 which is registered under Document No.521/2011 in the office of the Sub-Registrar, Thirupananthal. The petitioner had given a representation on 24.12.2020.

3. It is also stated that he had paid necessary fees for conducting survey. In view of the fact that the petitioner had produced the documents relating to title and also had made necessary application and also paid fees, a direction is given to the Tahsildar to issue notice to the petitioner, examine the documents of the petitioner and issue notice to anybody else, if required and after coming to the personal satisfaction, proceed further and do the needful as stated in the application filed by the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve
(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
