ORDER
The main grievance of the petitioner is that she filed a complaint with the second respondent stating that her husband deceased Singaram while driving his two wheeler on Vattanam - Devakottai Road on 23.07.2019 was hit by a TATA Ace Vehicle, as a result of which, he sustained fatal injuries and died subsequently in a hospital. Her further contention is that the second respondent without conducting proper investigation is attempting to close the First Information Report by stating that the husband of the petitioner fell from his two wheeler and sustained injuries and consequently died.
2.Mr.R.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the investigation in Crime No.166 of 2019 is still pending.
3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief of transferring the investigation from the second respondent to any another competent investigation Agency Mr.D.Paneerselvam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that it would be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Crl.O.P.(MD)No.2184 of 2021 sufficient if the investigation is monitored by the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation of the second respondent in Crime No.166 of 2019 and the second respondent is also directed to file a final report as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
