ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2016 from the file of the third respondent to the file of the fourth respondent for conducting an effective investigation in this case.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the official respondents.
3. The petitioner's wife is alleged to have been murdered and the case was registered in Crime No.10 of 2016. The third respondent police has filed report before the Court as ' undetected' and closed the matter.

4. This Court is not happy with the attitude of the third respondent in short-circuiting the process of investigation in a
murder case. Hence, the third respondent is directed to reopen the case, investigate the matter afresh. The second respondent is directed to monitor the course of investigation.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
