Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in Na.Ka.NiA7/3224/15 dated 10.03.2017 on the file of the respondent No.4 and the consequential impugned order in G.O.Ms.No.18 labour and Employment (Q1) Department dated 23.01.2020 in so far as prescribing maximum age limit for appointment on Compassionate Grounds on the file of the respondent No.1 and the consequential impugned order in Na.Ka.Ra1/5552/2020 (Ni.A) dated 18.12.2020 on the file of the respondent No.2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to provide appointment to the petitioner on Compassionate Ground in any suitable post commensurate with his educational qualification within the time period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The order impugned rejecting the claim of the writ petitioner for compassionate appointment issued in proceedings dated 18.12.2020, is under challenge in the present writ petition. 2.The father of the writ petitioner Mr.Somasundaram(Late) was working as a Field Assistant and died on 11.02.2014, while he was in service. The petitioner admittedly submitted an application on 20.03.2015 seeking appointment on compassionate ground. 3.However, the respondents rejected the said application on the ground that the petitioner has crossed the age limit for appointment on compassionate ground. Even at the time of filing of the writ petition in the year 2021, the petitioner is aged about 45 years. 4.
Therefore, as per the scheme of the compassionate appointment, the petitioner has crossed the age limit and therefore, there is no infirmity as such in respect of the impugned order passed by the respondents. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
