ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to provide necessary and adequate police protection for the petitioner's life and limb, and to demolish the petitioner's dilapidated 60-year-old small house situated in the petition-mentioned property, based on the Judgment and Decree passed in O.S. No. 69 of 2012 on the file of the I Additional Subordinate Judge, Nagercoil, and the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Judgment and Decree passed in O.S. No. 69 of 2012 on the file of the I Additional Subordinate Judge, Nagercoil, was in favour of the petitioner and has attained finality. Therefore, the petitioner now seeks to demolish the dilapidated 60-year-old small house situated in the petition-mentioned property. 2/4

3. The petitioner is directed to obtain fresh permission from the local authorities and submit the same to the official respondents. Upon such submission, the respondents shall consider the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order from local authority.

4. With the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
