ORDER

This Contempt petition has been filed to initiate contempt proceedings against the Contemnor/ Respondent and punish him for the willful disobedience of the order of the Honble High Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 9163 of 2019, dated 01.07.2019

2. Contemnor present before this Court today. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this Court by an order dated 01.07.2019 had directed the respondent police to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Cont.P(MD)No.171 of 2020 respondent have completed the investigation and filed final report on 28.08.2019 referring the case as 'Further Action Dropped'. and RCS notice was also served on the defacto complainant.

3. Therefore there is no disobedience on the part of the respondent as per the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 9163 of 2019, dated 01.07.2019 . Hence this Contempt petition is closed.
