ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to ensure that the investigation in Crime No.3 of 2019 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent shall be continued by him and investigate the same in accordance with law. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the case was registered on the basis of a complaint given by the petitioner against the accused persons in Crime No.3 of 2019 and now the second respondent is in the process of transferring the investigation to the third respondent. He added that the allegation in the FIR is that the accused has cheated the petitioner of about Rupees 25 lakhs.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has preferred complaints both to the second respondent as well as the third respondent and hence, the second respondent thought it fit to transfer the investigation to the third respondent.

5.Inasmuch as the second respondent has already registered a case and started the investigation, this Court now directs the second respondent to complete the investigation to his logical end and lay charge sheet as expeditiously as possible. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
