Respondents/Complainants Prayer :- This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying to expedite the trial in S.C.No.111 of 2017 on the file of the Learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge (PCR Cases), Tirunelveli, within stipulated time frame that may be prescribed by this Honourable Court. ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the earlier order of this Court dated 07.02.2020 and the requisition letter submtted by the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Trial of cases under SC/ST (PoA) Act, Thoothukudi (FAC), in D.No.335 of 2021 dated 20.07.2021 and this Court made the following order:

This petition has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2020 ( Old No:S.C.No.111 of 2017).

2.This Court has already disposed the Criminal Original Petition, by the order, dated 07.02.2020 and directed the Court below to dispose of the case in S.C.No.42 of 2020 ( Old No:S.C.No.111 of 2017), within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Now, the Court below requests further time of eight months to dispose of the said case. 3.The learned Judge was on Medical Leave due to Covid-19.
