The learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner submitted that the defacto complainant had filed a joint memo of appearance reporting compromise arrived between the defacto complainant and the accused. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions of the Respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the identity of the defacto complainant and the accused had been verified by the Investigation Officer. 3.In the light of the joint memo of compromise filed by both the parties through their respective Counsels, the FIR in Crime No.320 of 2016, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, South Police Station, Thoothukudi District, is hereby quashed.
