ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders, to direct the first respondent to give police protection for the life and limb and peaceful livelihood in the petitioner's property in Survey No.68, to and extent of 904 sq.ft equivalent 83.90 sq meter of land with tiled house situated at Pattali Street, Adivaram, Palani.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the third respondent, enquiry was conducted and at that time, both the petitioner and the third respondent have agreed to sort out their issues before the competent civil Court.
3. It is evident from the records that there existed civil dispute between the parties.

4. Admittedly, there is no enforceable decree or order from the jurisdictional civil Court and as such, granting of police protection does not arise at all. As of now, leaving open the petitioner's rights and remedies, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 02.02.2023 NCC :
