ORDER

Mr.T.Amjad Khan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed by a aided non-minority institution, seeking a mandamus as against the 1st respondent to grant prior permission to fill up the post of Post Graduate Assistant (English) in the M.N.M.S.P.

3. A perusal of the records reveals that one Mr.David Sudhakaran, who was employed as PG Assistant (English) was promoted to the post of Head Master on 01.06.2022. In the said vacancy, the petitioner management intends to appoint a fresh PG Assistant (English) to the said effect. The petitioner has addressed a communication to the 1st respondent on 04.12.2024 seeking their prior permission. The 2nd respondent on 12.12.2024 has forward the said proposal to the 1st respondent. So far the 1st respondent has not passed any orders. Hence the present writ petition. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the 1st respondent herein is directed to consider the proposal forwarded by the 2nd respondent on 12.12.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and directions. No cost.
