RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time by four more weeks, or the petitioners to be released in the event of arrest or their appearance, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said order, before the Learned Additional Mahila(Magisterial Level), Tiruchirappalli, as directed in CRL OP(MD) No.134 of 2021 dated 07.01.2021 on the file of this Hon'ble High Court.
Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.SIVANANTHAN.T, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate (Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time limit of the petitioners surrender and execute sureties in Crl.O.P(MD)No.134 of 2021, dated 07.01.2021.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that this Court has granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties each for the like sum, hence the trial Court had insisted the petitioners to produce surety documents and title deeds while executing sureties. Since the petitioners are unable to arrange the same they are unable to execute sureties, hence they seek time to producing sureties. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3.Considering the reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or their appearance within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order before the Additional Mahila Court (Magistrate Level) Tiruchirappali on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) each with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent Police or to the Police Officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned. It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and if the petitioners fail to comply with the order within the stipulated period, the respondent police shall secure the petitioners and proceed in accordance with law.
