COMMON ORDER The Petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1658 of 2024 are arrayed as Accused in Crime No.191 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pappanadu Police Station, Thanjavur District. The third Petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1658 of 2024 is the second Respondent / Defacto Complainant in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1661 of 2024 in Crime No.148 of 2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pappanadu Police Station, Thanjavur District. The second Respondent in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1658 of 2024 is the sixth Petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1661 of 2024 and sixth Accused in Crime No.148 of 2022. The F.I.R in Crime No.191 of 2022 pertains to offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 324 and 506(i) I.P.C and F.I.R in Crime No.148 of 2022 pertains to offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 352, 342, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Subsequent to the Registration of the cases and during the pendency of the investigation, both the Parties in the case and counter case had arrived at a compromise to amicably settle between them and give a quietus to the pending Criminal Cases. 3/6

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions of the first Respondent, submits that the parties had arrived at compromise bonafide. The Petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1658 of 2024 is the Defacto complainant in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1661 of 2024. Therefore, the Counsels are before this Court of joint compromise memo filed in each of the Petitioners.

3. Considering the Joint Compromise Memos in both the Petitions, these Criminal Original Petitions are allowed and the F.I.Rs in Crime Nos.191 of 2022 and 148 of 2022 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Pappanadu Police Station, Thanjavur District, are hereby quashed, in the light of the joint compromise memo. The Joint Compromise Memo shall part and parcel of the order.
