ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission to conduct Kumbhabhishekham for Arulmighu Kuravanikattu Ayyanar Temple situated at Kaandiyanatham Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District, on basis of petitioner's representations dated 15.07.2022 and 08.11.2022.

2.The second respondent has given a communication dated 08.03.2023 in Na.Ka.No.4161/2022/E1, dated 08.03.2023, in which he has clearly stated that the preliminary work of inspection by the Archaeological Department about the structure of the temple, which is over 100 years old, the report of the satpathi etc., will be obtained and the work of renovation would be completed and thereafter, permission will be granted to the petitioner to conduct Kumbhabhishekham for

Arulmighu Kuravanikattu Ayyanar Temple situated at Kaandiyanatham Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District.

Taking note of this submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to conclude all the procedure within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter, grant necessary permission to the petitioner to conduct Kumbhabhishekham for Arulmighu Kuravanikattu Ayyanar Temple situated at Kaandiyanatham Village, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District. No costs.
