PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry as per the Circular No.41530/U1/2017 dated 08.11.2017 issued by the 1st respondent to cancel the fraudulent settlement 1/4

deed dated 10.06.1981 Document No.1269/1981 registered on the file of the 3rd respondent and quash the same and based on the representation of the petitioner dated 21.11.2020.

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to conduct the enquiry pursuant to the representation / complaint made by the petitioner on 21.11.2020.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 21.11.2020, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent has called the parties and conducted the enquiry in Na.Ka.No. 5534/A2 / 2021. The matter is now at the stage of passing final orders.

4. Taking into consideration the subsequent development that has been taken place and without going into the merits of the case, there 2/4

shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass final orders in the enquiry pending in Na.Ka.No.5534/A2 / 2021 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
