ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.271 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent completed the investigation in Crime No.271 of 2017 and also filed charge-sheet before the the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai on 22.05.2017 and it is pending for taking cognizance. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, is directed to take cognizance on the final report submitted by the first respondent in Crime No.271 of 2017 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already taken cognizance. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
