For Respondent : Mr.T.Senthil Kumar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 1657 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order : Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2. The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 8(c) r/w 20(b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act, in Crime No. 1657 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been implicated in this case based on the confession of the co-accused.

4.The learned Government Counsel (Crl.side) submits that the petitioner is having two previous cases of the similar nature. Totally 6 kgs of ganja has been recovered from the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.2039 of 2021 5.In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner and accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
