ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to survey the land situated in Survey No.176, Sub Division-3A1A1A1A in 1.99.44 hectors 1 cents Chinnamalaikundru Village, Ettayapuram Taluk, Thoothukudi District and lay boundary stones based on the representation dated 13.01.2026 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents.

3. The petitioner submitted a representation to the official respondents to survey the property of the petitioner. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the official respondent, submits that when the authorities have gone to the land on 25.12.2025, objections were raised and it was also informed that civil suit is pending in OS No.125/2025 on the file of the District Munsif, Ettayapuram.

In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.01.2026, by conducting enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that since the proceedings have not been closed yet and suit is also pending, all the said aspects shall be borne in mind while disposing the representation. There shall be no order as to costs.
