ORDER
This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 from interfering with peaceful conduct of business at VR Family Saloon and SPA, No. 61/1c, Bharathidasan Salai, Mahapopalayam, Madurai District based on the petitioner's representation, dated 14.09.2022.
2.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed before this court. 3.According to the petitioner, after getting licence from the authorities concerned, he is running SPA centre under the name and style of 'VR Family Saloon and SPA' at No. 61/1c, Bharathidasan Salai, Mahapopalayam, Madurai District, for providing therapy to the customers. No illegal activities are doing 2/5
in the centre. However, the respondent police are interfering with the petitioner's business activities, under the guise of conducting raid. Feeling aggrieved, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 14.09.2023 requesting the respondents 1 & 2 not to interfere with his business activities. Finding no response on the same, the present writ petitions have been filed seeking appropriate direction to the respondents in this regard. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent police do not have any objections to run the petitioner's Spa, however, in the event of any information regarding illegal activities taking place within the premises of "VR Family Saloon and SPA", appropriate legal action will be initiated by following the due process of law. 5.In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this court is of the view that no further orders need to be passed in the writ petition.
