ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to receive the document for registration in respect of the property measuring an extent of 1428 Sq.ft. in I.N.Punjai Survey No. 102/19 presently sub divided as 102/19A1 situated in Pudhupalayam Village, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar District as per the terms of directions issued in 2017(3) CTC 135, Sudha Ravi Kumar -VS- The Special Commissioner and Commissioner, HR and CE Department and the same was reaffirmed and approved by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 13011 of 2025 dated 27.10.2025.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has presented a document for registration, the same came to be refused to be received stating that the land in question belong to the third respondent. The learned counsel would however submit that based on the decision in Sudha Ravikumar v. The Special Commissioner and others [2017 (3) CTC 135], the respondents are supposed to receive the document and should make an enquiry by issuing due notice to the parties concerned and thereafter arrive at a decision.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader fairly submits that if the document is presented, after following due procedure contemplated as per law and following the aforesaid decision of this court, necessary orders would be passed by the respondents.

Considering the said submission made, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to represent the document and the respondents shall receive the same and in the event, if there are any objections from any quarters, the 2nd respondent shall issue notice to the parties concerned and thereafter, after hearing the parties, the 2nd 3/5
respondent shall take a decision following the law laid down in the aforesaid judgment. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 30.01.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No RR To
