This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the complaint in D.V.C.No.124 of 2016 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the records.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the respondent has preferred the present complaint after receiving notice from the court in H.M.O.P.No430 of 2016, which would show the intention of the respondent to harass the petitioners. He would further submit that the petitioners are the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the defacto complainant and there is no allegation against them.

4. On hearing the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and on perusing the records, this Court does not find any merit in this petition and accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are dispensed with from appearing before the trial Court, unless the trial Court https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

requires their presence, for this, notice to the counsel for the petitioners would be deemed adequate. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
