ORDER
The petitioner is arrayed as an accused in Crime No.144 of 2018, which came to be registered based on the complaint given by the third respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.7366 of 2018 and yet, he faces harassment from the second respondent, who insists the petitioner to settle the amount alleged to have been cheated by him to the de facto complainant.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions refuted the submissions of the petitioner's counsel and added that there is no harassment whatsoever.

5. The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Suffice to say for the present that inasmuch as the case has been registered, the duty of the second respondent is to investigate and lay a charge sheet and not to overstep limits on his power imposed by law. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
