Respondents Prayer: Petition - filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry and conducting "Katta Panchayat" on the allged complaint given by the 2nd respondent, which is matrimonial dispute and therefore, the 1st respondent police should direct the 2nd respondent to work out her remedy before pending proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.241 of 2018 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Melur.

ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a complaint was preferred by the second respondent and the same was being enquired in current paper. He further submitted that summon was issued to both parties and petition enquiry was conducted and it was closed on 25.03.2019. He added that the respondent police has not harassed the petitioner and he has no intention to harass him. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Hence, nothing survives for the present to adjudicate in the Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
