PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.02.2021 and take necessary action for shifting the proposed petrol bunk being constructed in S.No.714/3 A situated at Melaneelithanallur Village, Tenkasi - Sankarankovil Main Road, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tenkasi District, within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is informed by all the Counsel that the petitioner would like to withdraw this writ petition. A letter has also been addressed by the petitioner in this regard to the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court and a copy of the same has also been produced by the learned Counsel appearing for the eighth respondent. This factum is not disputed by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner.

2. Furthermore, the allegation made has also been answered by the third respondent, as submitted by Mr.K.Muraleedharan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the said respondent. He also acknowledged the fact that the petitioner has given a letter to the Registry to withdraw the writ petition.

3. In view of the aforesaid submissions, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
