We had the benefit of hearing Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, with respect to the issues, which we had come across while examining the Habeas Corpus Petitions filed seeking to quash the detention orders and the reasons under which, we had quashed in some of them, which we found could be addressed by the Government and there should not be any repetition of such issues again which passing the detention orders.

2. We also had the benefit of hearing Dr.Alagumani, learned counsel, who presented his views. Mr.Asra Garg, I.P.S., Inspector General of Police, North Zone, appeared through video conferencing and he also highlighted certain important issues, which we had taken note of.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor was also assisted in his submissions by Mr.Inigo Thivyan, DCP Madurai South and Mr.K.Venkatesan, Deputy Secretary (Law), Home Department, Chennai.

4. We duly appreciate the presence of the said officials, who had taken time from their schedule to provide assistance to this Court and also to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
