RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to Modify the condition imposed in Crl. O. P. (MD) No. 290 of 2017 dated 18.01.2017 in respect of executing two sureties for sum of Rs. 10,000/- by each Petitioners and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.R.M.ANBUNIDHI, Advocate for the petitioner and of THE PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent. 2.There are totally 9 petitioners in this case. They were granted anticipatory bail by this court, directing them to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Investigating Officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, vide order dated 18.01.2017.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners states that all the petitioners are daily wages and they found it difficult to arrange for two persons to execute a bond for Rs.10,000/-, as per the order of this Court and for 9 persons, totally comes around 18 sureties. 4.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there are totally 9 petitioners and also the fact that they have involved in similar type of offences and the charges against them, this Court is inclined to modify the condition to the effect that each petitioner has to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety for a likesum to the satisfaction of the respondent Police or the Police Officer, who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned. The other conditions as stated in the order dated 18.01.2017 shall remain unaltered. The petitioner has to comply with the modified condition within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
