8.Sivasundaram : Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2020 to conduct enquiry to the Solid Waste Management project at Urappuli Village near Thandaradevipattinam, Paramakudi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition with the grievance that without following due procedure, a contract has been awarded in favour of the eighth respondent towards establishments of a Solid Waste Management system.

2. Though the petitioner sought for consideration of his representation by the first respondent, we find that the said respondent is not the competent authority. In such view of the matter, we are inclined to call upon the seventh respondent to look into the grievance of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, the petitioner is given two weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to give a fresh representation to the seventh respondent and on receipt of the same, the seventh respondent is to consider and pass appropriate orders, within a further period of six weeks thereafter.
