The Criminal Original Petition had been filed seeking to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.125 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti.

2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioners are arrayed as A1 to A6. Pending criminal case, the first Accused and the De-Facto Complainant had filed H.M.O.P.No.77 of 2023 on the file of the learned III Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai and obtained a divorce by mutual consent. In the light of the decree of divorce granted by the learned III Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai, the Petitioners have amicably settled the matrimonial dispute with the second Respondent. 3.The learned Counsel for the de-facto Complainant also present before this Court. He had filed vakalat for the de-facto Complainant. Joint 2/4

compromise memo is also filed.

Recording the Joint Compromise memo and in the light of the decree granted by the learned III Additional Subordinate Judge, Madurai in H.M.O.P.No.77 of 2023, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The charge sheet in C.C.No.125 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, is quashed.
