Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action under the Criminal Law pursuant to the Petitioner's complaint dated 21.01.2022 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalitha Kumari .vs.Government of Uttar Pradesh and others reported in (2014) 2 SCC, as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated by this Court For Petitioner : Mr.R.Anand For Respondents: Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh No.1 & 2 Government Advocate(Crl.Side)
ORDER
This Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action under the Criminal Law pursuant to the Petitioner's complaint dated 21.01.2022 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalitha Kumari .vs.Government of Uttar Pradesh and others reported in (2014) 2 SCC, as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulated by this Court
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the petitioner has lodged complaint on 21.01.2022 before the first respondent and on receipt of the same, the first respondent has forwarded the same to the Inspector of Police, Soolakarai Police Station, Virudhunagar District and it is pending for enquiry.

3. In view of the same, the Inspector of Police, Soolakarai Police Station, Virudhunagar District is directed to conduct enquiry, giving opportunity of hearing the petitioner and pass orders on merits and inaccordance with law and dispose of the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
