Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to initiate necessary proceedings as against the 6th Respondent under the Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 pursuant to the enquiry report submitted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (CCRB / CWC), Tirunelveli to the 3rd Respondent dated 29.10.2021 forthwith.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Mandamus to direct the 3rd respondent to initiate necessary proceedings as against the 6th Respondent under the Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 pursuant to the enquiry report submitted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (CCRB / CWC), Tirunelveli to the 3rd Respondent dated 29.10.2021 forthwith.

2. On receipt of the complaint, the third respondent conducted a detailed enquiry and closed the complaint as false complaint on 23.02.2022. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition became infructuous.

3. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is needless to say that after closing the complaint by the police officer, the petitioner can always agitate the matter before the concerned jurisdictional Court. No costs.
