ORDER

Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 15.11.2024 under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizen Act, 2007.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has given an application before the first respondent, the first respondent is directed to forward the same to the 2/4

third respondent. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's application within a period of 90 days therefrom, after putting notice on the respondents 4 to 6 and give them an opportunity of hearing.

5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 31.01.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No jbr TO:-
