Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned order in Proc.No.LL2/14564/2014-2, dated 22.08.23 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same and further directing the respondents 1 to 4 to regularize the service of the petitioner as Forest Watcher. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order in Proc.No.LL2/14564/2014-2, dated 22.08.2023, on the file of the 1st respondent and to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to regularize the service of the petitioner as Forest Watcher.
2.Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Perused the materials on record.

3.The petitioner was excluded from the impugned appointment proceedings of Non-ST Anti Poaching Watchers, who have completed 10 years of service as on 01.01.2019 to the post of Forest Watcher, on the ground that he is lacking with the required height of 163c.m., to the post of Forest Watcher. The height of the petitioner is 155.9c.m.
4.However, the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions received from the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Chennai, dated 07.03.2024 submitted that the petitioner would be provided with one more chance to re-measure his physical standards. 5.In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 28.03.2024 for the purpose of remeasurement. On his appearance, the second respondent is directed to remeasure the physical standards of the petitioner. It is made clear to the petitioner that it should be the final chance for re-measuring his physical standards.

6.With the above observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
