ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(ii), 435, 379 of IPC, 21 (1) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and 4 of TN Public Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992., in Crime No.96 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that there are previous cases registered against the petitioner herein.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner pointed out that he has been mentioned as a whistle blower in the report of Sahayam Commission.

4.This Court went through the contents of the F.I.R. It appears that the case has been put up against the petitioner. 5.Considering the fact and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously. 6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
