ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.ARUL MURUGAN, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Om Prakassh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachments made in the subject properties by the private respondents 4 & 5.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, on instructions from the Tahsildar, Rajapalayam, dated 14.08.2025 submitted that already encroachments have been identified in the subject lands and the authorities have initiated appropriate proceedings under the Land Encroachment Act to remove the encroachment.

4. In view of the fact that already encroachments had been identified, the official respondents are directed to take appropriate proceedings under the relevant Act and Rules to remove the encroachment after affording reasonable opportunities to the concerned parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
