The present Writ Petition has been filed by a family pensioner seeking a Mandamus as against the respondent to consider her representation dated 20.09.2024.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner's husband was employed as a Bill Collector in the respondent Municipal Corporation and he had passed away on 07.01.1981. Thereafter, the petitioner is receiving family pension.
3. It is the contention of the writ petitioner that the family pension has not been revised on the basis of various Pay Commissions. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 20.09.2024 seeking to revise the family pension. Since the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.
5. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.09.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
