ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as accused, apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 465,468,471,417 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.166 of 2019, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein along with others collected Rs.15,000/- from 300 persons and thereafter issued bogus patta for the Government poramboke land in survey numbers 766,767,877, for which the affected victims filed complaint before the respondent police and thereafter the Tahsildhar and the Village Administrative officer conducted investigations and preliminary enquiry on all those pattas granted in the Government poramboke land and found that the accused persons had collected Rs.45,00,000/- from morethan 300 victims by issuing bogus patta to the Government Poramboke land. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and prayed for anticipatory bail.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that nearly 500 victims were cheated by the petitioner and other accused persons and Rs.45,00,000/- was collected from the victims by creating bogus patta to the Government Poramboke land and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the offence committed by the petitioner is very heinous in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
