O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition, seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3, to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner, to repair and lay the pipe line for his land situated in Survey No.196/3A in Thuraiyur Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District.

2. According to the petitioner, when the petitioner is trying to do the repair and lay the pipe line for his land situated in Survey No.196/3A in Thuraiyur Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, the 4th respondent and his henchmen are preventing the petitioner.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to give police protection to the petitioner to do the repair and lay the pipe line for his land situated in Survey No.196/3A in Thuraiyur Village, Thirumayam Taluk, Pudukkottai District, IF THERE ARE NO LEGAL IMPEDIMENTS. This Court also makes it very clear that, if any civil suit is pending between the petitioner and the 4th respondent with regard to the property in question, the police shall not interfere with the dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent and the police shall act in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
