Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 468, 471, 420 I.P.C. in Crime No.4 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. On 05.02.2015, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Today, the case was posted "for orders". Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

4. The complainant in this case is the Passport Officer, who has stated that this petitioner had applied for passport and along with the application, he had also submitted Transfer Certificate Admission No.6972 dated 15.03.2002, purported to have been issued by the Head Master, Government Higher Secondary School, Mirattunilai622 201, Pudukottai District. The said certificate was referred to the Issuing Authority to verify its genuineness and a reply was received from the said authority that the Transfer Certificate was not issued by them. Hence, this petitioner has obtained bogus Transfer certificate, which resulted in registration of a case for the aforesaid offences.

5. Taking into consideration the serious nature of allegations as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
